Description
Starling is an imperious woman, on the shorter side for her people-- which is probably a blessing, given her thin build of long, sharp lines. It's obvious that there isn't much softness to the woman, in any sense of the word. Wavy teal hair is often left loose to brush her shoulders, contrasting sharply with her usual attire of black and gold.

Magic
If Starling is suffering from a physical wound of some sort (from papercut to mortal injury), she can cause the same wound to appear on another target. Her magic doesn't transfer her wound, and each use of the ability makes it harder for her to heal-- especially the wound in question. These injuries always scar, and and almost always develop a complication, such as lingering pain or decreased mobility.
Personality
Cold, imperious. Starling doesn't have time for people that aren't of some benefit to her-- at least, not at first. There's probably some sliver of friendliness deep down inside, but few have ever reached it. She's quick to anger, she holds grudges, and she's been known to go to extremes for vengeance and spite. She's ambitious and focused, rarely letting go once she's chosen a goal.

Relationships
- Nathan (Parent): Respected for his drive and focus, but little else.
- Swallow (Parent): She used to look up to her, but now Starling has turned her back.
