Game news:Character Deaths

Character deaths will be considered a last resort solution to most things. Killing a character ends their story, whether the person is ready or not. So, if possible, we'll encourage people to take avenues to keep a character alive. Though, if a Knight does something that puts the noble they are the Knight of at risk or what have you, as is the way for knights in Atharia (+news Knights), the death will be unavoidable. Basically, if it is an action that we can find an alternative for instead of death we will do our best too. Ultimately we want players to decide when and possibly how their character dies so that the conclusion of their story is what feels right for the character.
