Mirilane Luminat is not a slight, fey princess like one finds in some old stories. She stands at 5'3, but she owns every inch of it. She has no lack of curves -- rounded face, full breasts, soft hips and belly -- and underneath it, she is a powerhouse of muscle. Her hair is a coppery red and her skin is a freckled olive, though with that ghostly cast that is typical of the Luminati. Her eyes are a rich, velvety forest green, greener than one normally would think possible.

Mirilane has the ability to heal others' wounds, illnesses and ailments. However, when she does so, she takes on a similar (though less severe) malady. If she cures someone's pneumonia, she comes down with a nasty cold. If she heals a broken wrist, hers sprains. If she reattaches a severed leg, hers breaks. If she cures someone's permanent blindness, she will lose her sight for a month or so. This makes her much prefer conventional methods of treating ailments, though this is a very useful tool in her line of work.

Mirilane is dedicated to everything she does, and doesn't do anything by half-measures. If she feels something is worth doing, she will throw herself into it wholeheartedly. Naturally, if she feels something isn't worth her time, she will avoid it as best she can. However, this isn't based solely around her own whims. She takes the duty and responsibility of her royal position seriously, and will always put the needs of Luminat above her own. A clever, sharp-witted woman, her equally sharp tongue has gotten her in trouble on innumerable occasions. Her heart, however, is warm and open, and generally in the right place.
