The pale light that suffuses his skin is subtle in the light of day, but in more dim environs even his eyes and hair hold a certain green and scarlet radiance. Boasting a taller-than-average height, he has a lean, athletic build with a musculature that is most accentuated through the shoulders. His is a classically straight nose, one that's never suffered a break, even though scars on his arms and hands speak to a certain amount of violence in his life. Autumnal-shaded hair of intermingled reddish hues frames his face, long enough to tumble down his back when left loose. Magic Aeryn has an affinity for wind magic, notably able to use it to levitate or lessen the weight of objects. Whenever he invokes this art, it makes him physically weaker for a time. The heavier the object manipulated, or the stronger the air current created, the more fierce and lengthy a price the magic demands. It has on occassion left him enervated and bedridden for more than a week after especially dramatic workings. Personality Aeryn generally approaches life with a positive disposition, an earnest belief that all things will work out in the end. He has a certain dry sense of humor and an overall moral clarity that leads him to shoulder more than his share of risk. He is, however, something of a loner: Very loyal to a few friends, he does not put a lot of effort into maintaining a great number of relationships, or adhering to social niceties of court.
