Fashion Atharia is diverse, and people wear whatever they feel suits them. The trends are usually set by big names such as royals, titled nobles, socialites, and Courtesans. Courtesans are, usually, the ones who start any fashion trend. Unless it exposes private parts fully, there is not much that is considered ‘unacceptable.’ Nothing is too scandalous or too proper. Someone wearing armor and weapons at all times is not really a common thing, especially in the Seat of Gods. While anything goes for fashion, each kingdom has developed their own flare and style. Everyone picks a look that flatters their form.

A note, the materials found in Atharia are ones from natural fibres such as hemp, silk, cotton, linen, flax, gemstones, glass, natural metals etc. There are even potentially some more modern materials that is created by magic.

  • Choisi Kingdom Style: As they are nomadic and from warmer weather their preferred materials are light and airy. Even the cut of the clothing has a flowy look. They do layer, a little, but not much as it just gets to warm and potentially hinders their movements on a boat. Dark clothing is rare for someone from Choisi Kingdom. If it flows, is light, and gives ease of movement, it is likely a fashion item from Choisi Kingdom. Even the jewellery and accessories are carefully selected to seem as if it is light. The most favoured themes and colours the Choisians pick will reflect the waters and beaches in some way. For example, someone might wear a gradient of blues and white that create the idea of an ocean with jewellery and accessories that make one think of ocean life.
  • Divinus Kingdom Style: Those from Divinus will often wear tighter fitted clothing of thicker and heavier materials, as the mountain weather can be on the unpredictable and chillier side. Materials that protect against the elements and keep them warm are what they seek. Layering clothing is quite common for them, it is easier to take off a layer than it is to put on a layer in the colder times. The jewellery and accessories are heavier and when metal and gems are involved, blessed with magic to keep them from causing harm to the skin. More natural hues such as browns, greys, whites, greens, and so are the chosen colours of those from Divinus Kingdom, as it goes well with the mountains, and it is often the colours that are naturally available.
  • Luminat Kingdom Style: Those from Luminat Kingdom wear a variety of materials, mainly what they can grow from crops or animals, and have a large variety of colours due to the readily available materials they have. Their clothes fit somewhere between tight and loose so that they do not hinder movements but are not at risk of catching in farming equipment. Their clothing is made to work with a variety of weathers. They have a preference for layers so that they can remove pieces of need be. Their jewellery and accessories have no specific type either, as their climate does not require them to be overly mindful of the elements.
  • Santua Kingdom Style: Santua Kingdom prefers darker hued clothing that is figure hugging and cut to give ease of movement. They have a strong preference for leathers, furs, and fibres for materials. The type of forest they are currently in affects how heavy the material is, as some forests can be cooler and some hotter. Santua people do not really like to do layers, but they will, a little. Their accessories and jewellery tend to be darker hued, just as their outfits are, and of sturdy material. Anything that can get caught on branches or something are work under clothing or designed to fit snug to the form to avoid catching.
  • Seat of Gods Style: The fashion of the Seat of the Gods embodies all the kingdoms, as a good portion of the citizens come from one of the kingdoms. It is like the melting pot of all the kingdom’s fashioned blended into one. With the influence of the highly fashionable and trend setters that are the Courtesans, it is not common for the people living in the Seat of Gods to have ‘fashion failures,’ as they take the cues from the Courtesans. It is no surprise to see people wearing a piece of fashion from each kingdom, carefully selected to compliment each piece. The military types do not often wear their armour and weapons in the Seat of Gods, but they do often design their outfits to mime a set of armour, it also has a bit of protectiveness to it.
  • Clergy Style: The clergy typically wear hooded robes in the colour of their God’s glow or preferred colour. Under the robes are everyday, or special occasion, type clothes made from thinner materials since the robes are often made from thick and heavy fabrics. On special occasions the robes are accented with gems and/or metals that create intricate patterns along the edges of them and the symbol of the clergy on the back.
    • Larthin: The clergy robes are black and gold, his favoured colours rather than the hue of his glow.
    • Mataya: The clergy robes are typically red, crimson being the favoured hue.
    • Ossian: The clergy typically wear green robes.
    • Attia: The clergy typically wear blue robes, dark blue being the favoured hue.
    • Hilal: The clergy typically wears white robes.
    • Soleil: The clergy typically wears gold hued robes.
    • Masquerade: The clergy typically wears lavender hued robes with a lavender scent to them.
