Opulent is word that comes to mind when stepping into the House of God Larthin. Marble, gold, silver, and a variety of gemstones is what is used for the décor. It's not hues of the metals or glass made to appear like the gems used but actual gold, silver, and gemstones. Because of this the whole room seems to glitter, no matter the time of day. The rows and columns of benches are made from the white marble, standing out against the black marble floor. The roof is a mosaic of what Larthin is believed to look like. A platform with a solid gold alter acts as the place for the clergy to give speeches and sermons.

The First God has settled himself in his House, on his altar. Why not? He's the God his temple is devoted too. It is not like it is a secret that Larthin is the God, he's not hiding it, at all. At least he isn't currently. At some point Larthin send word for Valeria to find him, as the First God does.

Without much fanfare, Valeria enters the temple as requested. It wasn't difficult to find her- she's usually not far from the Seat of the Gods these days with her base of operations having shifted to the home where her fellow Children live. It keeps her closer to Ama, and it keeps her where the action is- where she's needed. "You summoned me, oh mighty lord?" she wonders softly, as she slides to a respectful knee before Larthin on his alter.

It always goes well to pander to the First God's pride. "Princess, it is always a delight to see you." Off the alter her slides, lowering his hand to grasp her elbow and pull her to her feet. "I always find your presence a delight. You've been quite busy taking care of the Children of Gods. Don't think I've missed how you attempt to assure their safety."

"There are a great many who would deign to use them to their own designs, I am sure. I simply offer an extra measure of protection that is more easily seen than that already provided by the divine." Valeria offers with a bow of her head, "But I thank deeply your kind words and notice." She says as she slides to her feet at the God's urging. "You have summoned me, though. I must assume you have need of me, mighty lord?"

The First God lifts a hand to brush against Valeria's cheek, "I only notice those that interest me, Princess. My interest in you has nothing to do with you being Attia's child." He laughs, "I always have need for you." There is no missing the underlining meaning of his words. Larthin does after all, have many things he likes to do. "However, this time it is for a more serious matter." Whatever he defines serious as.

Valeria chuckles softly, "You also know I'm spoken for." she states simply, not afraid to speak thusly to even the first god. "My adoration for my Amahle is equal to my adoration for the Gods, I will never betray her, even for the love of a God." She states firmly, looking the first god in the eyes. She is deathly serious in this. "She is my light."

"Yes, what serious matter then needs my attention, my Lord? I am at your command."

"You think that is something that will usually stop me?" He did add 'usually', implicating that Children of Gods might be one of his exceptions to doing what he wants anyways. Towards a bench he indicates and moves to sit down upon it. "I have decided, Princess, that you should create a group. Ones that will take over protecting the Seat of the Gods. I can't say I am inclined towards such ideas but, I am always entertained to have my mind changed, though, that is no easy thing to do. The military in the Seat of Gods is small and not strong." Larthin observes to Valeria, "I'm sure someone of your skills has noticed as such."

"Yes. One of the other kingdoms could make a move on the Seat, and only the other Kingdoms would hold them back. This is unacceptable from a tactical position, for the Seat should not have to depend on those with political ambition for it's protection." Valeria states simply. "I will do this thing."

"Do you have any specifics you require, my lord?" She wonders softly, looking to Larthin now- just giving a gentle smile. Friendly, kind, even now with the small bit of verbal sparring.

"None of the Kings and Queens that rule each kingdom are likely to cause harm to the Seat of the Gods but it would be wise to prepare for the possibility." The God waves a dismissive hand, "I have no particular expectations on how you achieve it. What I expect is your Order will be the most elite that all seek to have their family Knights be apart of. I expect that, though maybe not win, that your Order will be able to hold those going against the Seat of the Gods at bay until the Kingdoms can come protect them. You will lead this Order, Princess and work with the Clergy and Courtesans to support you. The Gods, the Kingdoms leaders, the Archbishops, and the Courtesans all need to be convinced to be on board. As this is a unique task that will take many years to fully solve, myself and the other Gods have granted you the ability to do more than one task assigned by us at the same time. It is not something we typically allow."

"The will of the First God will be done, my Lord. I shall create this order, and ensure it's ability to protect your houses." Already, Valeria's honed military mind is turning, working on how to set this up. "I appreciate the kindness of the Gods in allowing me additional tasks." Somehow, she means it- she's a hard working woman who thrives on this sort of thing.

Very much a Santic Woman, despite her refusal to follow so many of her culture or Kingdom's norms. "I will begin right away." she says softly, "And speak to the Priests and Courtesans to garner their support."

"My children need to be convinced too. Attia and Mataya are likely to be the easiest to convince. They are much kinder than myself and Arion." He considers a moment then adds with amusement, "The 'Lost Gods', will also be difficult to win over because they do not know mortals very well. They have always limited their interactions with them." His hand lifts and lightly touches Valeria's cheek once more, "I will leave you to solve all you need to to sort out this Order."

Valeria smile softly, giving a fond pat to the God's hand as it touches her cheek. A granddaughter's motion to a beloved grandfather. "It will be done. I have faith to buoy me in all things, my Lord. Thank you for your trust in this task."
