Stepping into the study reveals a room that has a large fireplace and is dominated by a rather huge desk with comfortable chairs behind and before it. Cabinets, chests, and a display case or two are the storage items available in the room. A loveseat fills the wall with nothing at it, giving extra seating where it is needed. Potted plants and paintings act as accents to the room.

As a King Jaden expects the majority of people to come to him and not he to them. So, the missive sent to Ozymandias has invited him to the Luminat Mansion. Servants of the Mansion escort Ozymandias to the study of the king, where he is settled behind the desk in the room, doing some work he must do as a king.

Indeed, or such that he would not be a king. Either that, or he would honor Ozymandias far more than he deserves to be honored. That being said, the missive arrives at the House of God Mataya, and Ozymandias leaves one of the bishops in charge of the sacred ground before he took his leave to Luminat.

Ozymandias wore his normal clothes, his long red robes, a hood over his head to protect him from the elements. In his hand is a tall wooden staff, with carvings of multiple creatures along it's length and a rainbow gem at it's head. He uses it to help him walk, and to have something to lean against.

But it's more than that. It's a symbol of who he is and whom he represents. Escorted to the study of the king, Ozymandias lowers his hood and offers a smile of kindness to Jaden.

"Your Majesty." He bows at the waist. "I trust this day finds you well, and your house filled with the peace only the gods can give."

The king inclines his head to Ozymandias by way of responding to his greeting, "Well enough, Your Holiness." says Jaden, lifting a hand to wave towards a seat to invite Ozymandias to sit. "Welcome to my home." He doesn't open any discussion until Ozymandias has found his seat. A smile is given by Jaden, "I imagine you have an idea of why I invited you speak with me."

Invited to sit, Ozymandias takes the offer. "I am glad to hear you are well, my King." He hums though. "Yes, a few ideas. I have received many letters of interest, namely in whom I may go to in order to be adopted and made part of the royalty. No doubt you are one such man." Ozymandias smiles. "But, I hear you are a good man and a better King. I would reason with you gladly."

"Yo are a special case, Your Holiness. I do not look to those considered a commoner' to add to my family. Except, perhaps, for a Consort." The King looks slightly amused, "I am not looking to take you on as my Consort. I have one already." His tone becomes a touch affectionate when he speaks of his Consort. "I am not the sort to chase people down. I invite you to become my son. My wife is also willing to have you as her brother, as I took her family into my own since they desired it. My Consort has expressed interest in making you her brother to but she is a commoner and will not step in against nobility. You'll become a Prince of my Kingdom and be treated as such, along with the treatment of being a Archbishop. Bear in mind, you will not be immune to having a political marriage arranged for you, though, it is not something I make a priority to do unless my direct heir. You will have a duty as a prince, so it is potentially in your future. My Queen and I are not in love but we bear affection towards each other over the years we've been married." Jaden is quiet a moment before he says, "I am willing to consider having you as my direct heir, should my children be willing to allow it. Especially Rosalia, as she is my current heir." Jaden leans back in his chair, ignoring the paperwork he was doing. "That is what I offer, Your Holiness. No doubt Misssiah is more inclined to coax you to join her family and Kalem wanting to demand. Elena is likely similar to me, presenting her offer and letting you go from there. It is up to you to decide if you want to become royalty of the Luminat Kingdom or not." JAden might be straight to the point but his tone is kind.

Straightforward indeed.

It was a gracious offer, to not be required to step down from his Holy duties, yet given the authority and benefits of a Prince of Luminat. He would be able to reach far more people and help them as he will. "I see." Ozymandias seriously considers this. He's silent for a moment, and offers a silent prayer to both Ossian and Attia.

"I accept your offer, your Majesty. I would join you as your son, I am interested in being your heir, greatly so, though if Princess Rosalia does not approve, then I shall not chase it. Few are spared from the duties of nobility, but I will accept what arises." Ozymandias appreciated the 'freedom' of choice that Divinus and Luminay enjoyed. "I suppose I should be thankful, I already am fluent in your language. Though this assumes you'll accept me."

"You are not going to meet with Kalem and Elena? Missiah has mentioned to me she made her offer to you. Kalem nor Elena have mentioned anything." The king folds his arms across his chest, "I don't need to tell you to treat people with kindness and respect, regardless of their 'class'. You are Mataya's Archbishop. Only other royals should be treated as your equal, however. Royalty is held to a higher standard than anyone else so the divide between being common and royalty is great. You do not treat people like you are a superior being but also not as someone on par with you." Jaden laughs here, "A counterdiction, I know. I am sure the other kings and queens will have told you similar should you have decided to join one of their families." Jaden unfolds his hands, "There is no promise on becoming my direct Heir. Also, keep in mind, you can not continue to be an Archbishop should you become my direct heir."

"I would rather not complicate Divinus, matters of love you see. As for Choisi, I like Queen Missiah. She is a fair ruler, though she is clever like a fox." Ozymandias hums. "And, I have always gotten along with those of Luminat and enjoyed my time here." Ozymandias's reasoning is...well, down to earth rather than material. "You should know better than most, your Highness, that I do not treat people differently depending on their class or status or past. All are loved in he light of the Gods, my position in life will never change that. Though your words are ones of sense. A slight contradiction in treatment, but not one I am incapable of understanding." He smiles at Jaden. "But I understand it all." He smiles.

A light laugh is given by Jaden, "Missiah is more whimsical than clever. Though, she doesn't agree with either of our methods of breaking The Curse and a lot of our life choices, she cares about each of us and supports us." The King clearly cares for his siblings, no matter the circumstances for the creation of the four kingdoms. "If you are certain you wish to become a Luminat Prince, Your Holiness, I will make the announcement you have officially decided on the Luminats. Be prepared for nobles and other royals vying to become your spouse or Consort, though. You will have both being royalty and a Child of Gods as an appealment factor for you."

"Hopefully my personality will assist endeavors as well, your Majesty." Ozymandias takes a moment to think about it and solidify his decision before he speaks again, however. "Let my decision be heard: I would join Luminat as your son, so long as you would have me. I imagine many letters will find your desk and mine."

"We shall see." says the king. "From this day forward, Ozymandias, consider yourself my son." The 'formal' title is no longer being used since the decision is made. "I am still king but you may address me by my name, or a parental term if you prefer, as long as it is not a formal situation."

"These terms are acceptable. It will be strange to me to become used to a new surname, but we will see how it all works out." He chuckles. "I will address you as the situation permits me in order to best respect you. By your name in informality, and by title in matters of the Kingdom and formal states." Ozymandias smiles. "It will be interesting to see if I will get used to calling you my dad." Ozymandias jokes with the elder man.

Jaden looks amused at Ozymandias, "We shall see. Now, you can find a room here (you have to build it yourself) or live in Elysium. Whatever you decide." Up Jaden stands and says, "Now, I have to go see my wife. She wanted me for something or another."

"For now, Elysium is a worthy home." Ozymandias chuckles. "But, see the Queen and give her my regards, please." Hd rises to his feet and stands his staff tall. "May your roads be peaceful and your hand lay open, my King." Ozymandias bows his head respectfully, and begins to make his way out
