Story: Highpeaks are the first Duchy that was established in the Divinus Kingdom. They are a rare case of nobles that declared themselves a Duchy. They stood boldly before their Queen who, in the end, respected their boldness. A note of pride for them is that one of their own was taken to be the spouse of Elena, Arthur Highpeak who became Arthur Divinus. The Highpeaks are very loyal to their rulers, more so with a family member married to the Queen. Duchess Alana and Duke Damon Highpeak died to wild creatures when they were hunting, making Annie the Duchess. The Duchess and Duke were skilled hunters, it was just one of those accidents that happen.

Family Hook: Highpeaks are bold and daring people. They are a rare breed of titled nobility because they declared themselves a Duchy. Their boldness was respected by Queen Elena and they were allowed to become a Duchy. Boldness is a part of the lives of those from Highpeak. Each milestone in their life a Highpeak must do a feat to prove they are bold and daring. It can be anything as long as the rest of the family considers that feat to be daring and bold. It can be a dangerous thing, a social thing, something new and innovated in the scholarly area, something that uses their magic, anything. As long as the Highpeaks think it fits their expectations, they can show their 'Highpeak Spirit'.
